'''Tom''' helps the player defending the Smugglers' Camp from zombies while Johnny uses a welding torch to cut large containers open.

'''Tom''' can be equipped with weapons, armor, and food or medicines to heal himself.

If you attack him, he will attack you. When his health is lower than 20 HP, he will run off the map.

Oak Clearing

In one version of the recurring Oak Clearing event, '''Tom''' and Johnny return, again offering a reward in exchange for the player's help gathering wood, with '''Tom'''<nowiki/>'s assistance.
