Weapon Crates were introduced in update Beta v.1.5.2, as part of trading with the Dealer.

They give one weapon when opened. It is not a stackable item.

Potential weapons from the crate include:

• Glock 17
• Katana
• M16
• Machete
• Metal Pipe (Spiked Devastator before Beta v.1.9)
• Saw Blade Mace
• Shotgun
• Skull Crusher
• VSS Vintorez (can only be obtained once through the dealer's weapon crate)

Weapon crates can also be found elsewhere in the game, for example, Rest Stop, in the inventory of AI in resource zones.
